Beaux-Champs Dance Company

Paris - France

Creation / Education / Research / International

Beaux-Champs Dance Company develops a choreographic and musical project that interrogates Baroque heritage through a decidedly contemporary vision.

Under the guidance of dancer and choreographer Bruno Benne,
Beaux-Champs was founded in 2013.

Bringing together a new generation of creators and specialists of this period, Beaux-Champs asserts in all its activities the essential place of a Baroque art in constant renewal. Its founding concepts continue to lay the groundwork today, and for the future, for a rich field of creative exploration.

Beyond its choreographic work combining dance and live music, the company has developed a teaching and transmission branch initiated by Bruno Benne, called // Energie Baroque //. The desire to contribute to research on historical treatises and to promote Baroque art in France and internationally also remain central drivers of the company’s activity.
